Prior to becoming a CDC Certified Divorce Coach,
Cynthia spent over 17 years advising college students and their parents on everything from admissions and financial aid to academics and career planning.
She earned an A.A. degree from Pensacola State College, a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Alabama, an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Career Counseling from the University of South Florida, and is currently a doctoral candidate for a Ph.D. in Career & Workforce Education from the University of South Florida. Cynthia has been a stepmom since 2005 to 2 amazing young women. She is also a proud pet momma to 3 rescue cats and 2 rescue dogs.

Laurel received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2005 and her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2008. She has represented clients in divorces, adoptions, bankruptcies and child custody matters since 2009. Whenever possible Laurel believes in a non-adversarial approach to family law matters. She believes that in many cases she can achieve a positive resolution for her client’s through negotiation and mediation prior to litigation. She has a passion for helping parents overcome past trauma in order to prevent emotional issues from getting in the way of their success. She is skilled in working with the whole family in providing treatment that addresses the unique needs of her clients and their families.
